I can’t believe how much crap people have been giving Ashton Kutcher after responding to a tweet when he didn’t have enough information. People’s arrogance and ignorance is growing by exponential proportions.

I’m not sure what these people do for a living but I’m sure my schedule is not as busy or demanding as Ashton’s. I sure as hell don’t carry a news box with me nor do I spend all day reading about all news! I did happen to know about the incident because I had just watched SXEPhil’s YouTube episode talking about it.

One of the reasons I been using twitter more often is not because I know everything but because I feel the trending topics allow me to see the common theme and push me to look up more information on the topics. Expecting someone to understand a story from 160 characters is like expecting people to possess some sort of fore-sight.

It also just goes to show how judgmental people are. Had Ashton not apologized for not knowing about the incident - I understand the frustration of some people. Is the anger justifiable? I don’t think so.

Joe Palermo is being prosecuted for knowing of the incident and not following through when his superiors did nothing about it. Yet Ashton gets to also be on the hot seat for not knowing about someone else’s life?!

Sorry Ashton but if you’re going to be famous and interesting you need to know everything! (Sarcasm!) So since you are all knowing please tell us - who will win this presidential election?

Coming back to the topic… it’s sad that those boys were abused. Yet - everyone has lost the real focus of the problem and seems to have directed that frustration towards Ashton unfairly. If those people were as smart and all-knowing as they claim to be since they were so on top of the topic, perhaps they too would have known that what they are doing is hypocrite behaviour. 

Hope you shake it off Ashton and it’s sad that more people are standing behind you and acknowledge the powerful character you had to so quickly realize a mistake and apologize.
